The Abbey Theatre located in historic Downtown Durango is an independent Art House movie theatre and an intimate music and special event locale.

We had a dream....to create the ultimate venue in Southwest Colorado for great music, events and films...and, well, perhaps a good party or two along the way. We invite you to come check it out. We have done some remodeling and the theatre is in top condition.

We are available for private rentals and feel we offer something above and beyond the traditional hotel meeting space or multi-plex theatre.
